DoorDash Main Street Strong Accelerator
AOF and DoorDash have collaborated on a unique program aimed at revitalizing independent restaurants by empowering owners with the resources they need to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Restaurants are some of the most vital small businesses in our communities, and they’ve experienced acute hardships during the COVID-19 pandemic and shutdowns. BIPOC-owned businesses have been disproportionately affected and are at greater risk of closure.
Restaurants owned by women, immigrants, and people of color represent the cornerstone of many main streets across the United States, and AOF has teamed up with DoorDash to support those businesses as they stabilize, reset, and continue to grow.
The Main Street Strong Accelerator program provides a suite of diverse resources to 100 independent restaurant owners:
- 8-week interactive curriculum designed to help businesses adapt
- one-on-one advising from industry experts
- $20,000 grants to each participating restaurant
- free merchandising and marketing from DoorDash
The first Main Street Strong Accelerator cohort is taking place in Spring 2021. Learn more about the program here.
